BOARD ORDER AFFIRMING HEARING PANEL ORDER OF SUSPENSION (On Remand)

Issued by the Attorney Discipline Board 211 W. FortS!.. Ste.1410, Detroit, MI Kent County Hearing Panel #2 of the Attorney Discipline Board entered an order suspending respondent's license to practice law for a period of four years in this matter on November 24,2010. The Grievance Administrator petitioned for review of that order on December 14,2010, and respondent filed a cross-petition for review January 3,2011.

The Attorney Discipline Board has conducted review proceedings in accordance with MCR 9.118, including the Board's review of the record before the hearing panel, and its consideration of the briefs and arguments submitted by the parties at a hearing conducted before the Board on March 9, 2011.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that the hearing panel's order suspending respondent from the practice of law in Michigan for a period of four years issued November 24,2010, is AFFIRMED.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that respondent shall, on or before June 17. 2011, pay costs incurred by the Attorney Discipline Board for the transcript of review proceedings conducted on March 9, 2011 in the amount of $122.00. Such costs are in addition to the costs of $1,496.24, previously assessed in the hearing panel order of November 24, 2010, together with interest pursuant to MCR 9.128 in the amount of $4.50, for a total amount of $1.622.74. Check or money order shall be made payable to tlie State Bar of Michigan, but submitted to the Attomey Discipline Board [211 West Fort St., Ste. 1410, Detroit, MI 48226] for proper crediting. (See attached instruction sheet).
