NOTICE OF REVOCATION Case No: 07-177-GA Notice Issued: August 27,2008 Harvey J. Zameck, P 22687, Southfield, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Tri-County Hearing Panel #57.

1. Revocation 2. Effective August 26,2008 1 The respondent appeared at the hearing but was found to be in default for his failure to file an answer to the formal complaint. Based on that default, the panel found that respondent, neglected a legal matter; failed to seek the lawful objectives of a client; failed to act with reasonable diligence and promptness; failed to explain a matter to a client to the extent reasonably necessary to permit the client to make informed decision regarding the representation; failed to provide notice of his suspension to his clients; held himself out as an attorney during the period of his suspension; failed to surrender papers and property to which the client is entitled at the termination of the representation; engaged in conduct that violates the criminal laws of the state; engaged in conduct that violates a criminal law of a state or the United States; practiced law in a jurisdiction where doing so violates the regulation of the legal profession in that jurisdiction; practiced law during the period of his suspension; failed to answer three requests for investigation; and knowingly failed to respond to a lawful demand for information from a disciplinary authority.

Respondent's conduct was in violation of MCR 9.1 04(A)(1 )-(5) and (7); MCR 9.113(A) and (B)(2); MCR 9.119(A); MCR 9.11 9(E)(1) and (3); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(c); 1.2(a); 1.3; 1.4(b); 1.16(d); 5.2(a); 8.1(a)(2); and 8.4(a}-(c}.

The hearing panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be revoked and assessed costs in the amount of $1 ,986.22.
